West Sponsorship at Resch Center in Green Bay

In an effort to raise our brand awareness in around our Wisconsin sites, West purchased a gate sponsorship at the Resch Center in Green Bay. This required vinyl designs on the entrance doors as well as rugs and the gate signs. I was in charge of coming up with the design and communicating with the Resch staff.

Unfortunately, at this time, our company was undergoing a huge divestiture along with a brand reboot. The marketing team had hired an outside agency to do the redesign so I found a contact over there and began getting updates on their progress. Due to the urgency of my project, I convinced them to give me the new company logo and some other branding assets ahead of the release. By using examples they had given me, I created a design that incorporated our solid color style with minimalist icons. These icons, I connected throughout the door panels to create a look that leads you around, making stops at the logo and our new tagline. The gate signs included our new font, logo and primary brand colors.

In the end, the design that I used matched up with our new brand guidelines, which came out a month after completion. This project also brought us a lot more attention and was a great way to introduce the rebranded company to Wisconsin.
